Catherine Young
Instantly likeable, Catherine Young is here to bring you joy!
From Irish decent, Catherine is a warm, yet fearless, electric act. Her comedy is light-hearted, full of mischievous stories and friendly humour, with the perfect mix of energy, punchlines and emotion. After a career in mental health, and as a singer in the working men’s clubs, connecting with people is at the heart of who she really is.
‘An instantly likeable act, Catherine is a warm yet electric act who can fearlessly play any room, from a theatre to a working men’s club and be totally un-phased. She’s a dream to comedy bookers and a joy to audiences.’ Felt Nowt Comedy.
‘A perfect mix of energy and punchlines’ Shoecake Comedy.
Steve Day describes himself as Britain’s only deaf comedian, if there are any others he hasn’t heard.
For the past eleven years Steve has been performing to huge laughter around the country and abroad, well they tell him the laughter was huge to humour him, he doesn’t know either way.
“Revelatory and very funny” – The Guardian
“Warm, funny, frank and thought-provoking” – The Scotsman
Al Stevenson, the quick-witted, sharp-tongued lad of Newcastle! His charm allows him to tear through audiences with rapid fire, all whilst getting away with it through a cheeky grin.
His talents have been described as “relentlessly hilarious” with a “magnetic aura” which have seen him rise to the finals of Beat The Frog World Series, beating hundreds of acts to do so, and to host and headline prestigious venues such as The Stand Comedy Clubs.
“Al Stevenson combines the blunt double-entendres of Julian Clary with the bored, world-weariness of Jo Brand.” – Chortle
“Blisteringly confident and deliriously lurid crowd work.” – NARC Magazine
