WE ARE BINGLEY LITTLE THEATRE
Bingley Little Theatre is a registered charity and was founded in 1947. It opened in the Victoria Hall on the now demolished Waddington Street.
In 1974 the theatre relocated into the existing St John’s Ambulance Hall at the rear of the newly built Arts Centre and it was granted a licence to use the Arts Centre for its productions.
In 2012 Bradford Council reviewed its use of the Arts Centre and granted a 99 year lease of the premises to Bingley Little Theatre. We now manage the whole Arts Centre building, a community space for hire in the heart of Bingley with excellent parking and public transport links.
We have a reputation for quality amateur productions and produce nine plays a year which are performed in our main 350 seat auditorium and our 100 seat Theatre Upstairs. All our sets are made in our spacious workshop and we have a large props store and wardrobe department. We have a state of the art lighting and sound system.

BLT ARCHIVE
As a society we have a rich history, dating back to 1947. Our archive site contains photographs and information on many of our previous productions. Information about BLT and its history is added regularly.

This Season’s Productions
“Welcome to Season 78. I believe the BLT audience is in for a real treat over the coming months. There are so many exciting projects coming to our stages, as we place new writing alongside musicals and contemporary comedies alongside more classic works.
Our relationships with each other and the world around us takes centre stage in the new programme, as we present a deliberately eclectic range of genres, stories, perspectives and styles. It is a programme full of warmth and joy, with something for everyone and we look forward to sharing it with you.
This season we have, once again, 3 productions in The Theatre Upstairs. The intimacy of the space lends itself to work that brings the audience into the action of the play and the lives of the characters.
We also have Saturday matinees for a number of our plays this season”.
