The aim of Studio Productions @ Bingley Little Theatre is to foster new writing and creativity. We do this by working with local creative communities and developing the talent of BLT members, whether on stage or behind the scenes, by producing a diverse range of events which are played in venues across Bingley Arts Centre.

We are always looking for new members to join us and invite those who are writers to join our Script Writers’ Lab, one of the routes to get material into production with us. The Script Writers’ Lab is part of our ITCH programme, an initiative to get new script writing for stage, screen, audio and beyond into production with both ourselves and other producers in the area. The ITCH programme includes regular Scratch Nights, Theatre in the Bar and fully staged plays. More information about the ITCH programme can be found here.

There is a Committee which oversees how Studio Productions operates. If you would like to join it, to help produce the exciting events we put on, do get in touch. Committee Meetings usually take place on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm, often in the Small Rehearsal Room, adjacent to The Theatre Upstairs. Requests to attend these meetings, or to ask about joining the Committee, can be made through the Chair of Studio Productions.
