Our award-winning Youth Theatre has been running for over 20 years and has supported hundreds of children to experience the power of drama and creativity. We run four groups for young people between the ages of 8 and 19.

Our weekly sessions and our performances provide an opportunity for young people to gain in confidence, explore their creativity and express themselves within a disciplined but fun and supportive environment.

We run weekly drama sessions exploring a variety of theatre styles and techniques. We focus on building confidence, developing communication skills and having fun and culminate in a full play during our Spring or Summer terms with the Senior and Advanced classes taking over the main stage of the arts centre and the Junior and Intermediate classes the Theatre Upstairs.

The drama sessions run after school in three terms – Autumn, Spring & Summer. Each term lasts approximately 10 weeks. The sessions are an hour long for Years 4-7 and an hour and a half for Years 8-13.

JUNIORS (Years 4 & 5) – TUESDAYS 4.15 – 5.15pm
INTERMEDIATES (Years 6 & 7) – TUESDAYS 5.30 – 6.30pm
SENIORS (Years 8, 9 & 10) – WEDNESDAY 5.30 – 7.00pm
ADVANCED (Years 11, 12 & 13) – THURSDAYS 5.30 – 7.00pm)
