Welcome to the Bingley Arts Centre

Bingley Arts Centre, at the heart of the town, includes a 350 seat theatre which can also be configured as a large open space. As well as a varied programme of entertainment the Arts Centre is home to ‘Bingley Little Theatre’ (BLT) who present eight plays each year along with a programme of Studio activities.

A major investment in the infrastructure has saved the performance space after years of council financial neglect, to currently provide state of the art facilities. The Bingley Arts Centre is now very busy if you want to book don't delay.

  Studio - The Last Memory
THE LAST MEMORY - By Alan Stockdill "How can I go to heaven if I don't know who I am?" says Ernest to his daughter Lynne when he’s diagnosed with Alzheimer's. But he also has a plan: to leave a vital imprint of who he is. Lynne is to be the keeper of his memory, the guardian of their past. Join them on their journey; share their hopes, fears, smiles, strength and tears. Arrive with them as they seize the last memory and a carpe diem hope. This powerful one-act play is inspired by a real-life situation with genuine stories and experiences. The performance will be followed by an interval then an optional Q & A session with the writer/director and actors. "The actors dealt with the difficult subject of dementia tenderly and compassionately, picking out the humour, the positives, the memories and the 'carpe diem' moments in a beautiful, truly touching way…" "One of the most moving and inspirational pieces of theatre I've ever experienced…" "Shows the sheer love a daughter has for her ‘Daddy who is struggling to remain with his beloved family…" "Brilliant. There was not a dry eye in the house…"

Highway to Hull - ACDC Tribute
Yorkshires Leading ACDC tribute act comes to Bingley Arts Centre with Special Guests * * * The bigger the stage, the bigger the show * * * Highway to Hull are Yorkshires answer to ACDC. They bring you over 90 minutes of the very best of their magnificent back catalogue of songs. Recreating ACDC at their prime, this local band have been performing highly charged concerts throughout Yorkshire for over ten years. Look out for classic songs, such as Highway to Hell, Back in Black, You shook me all night long, Thunderstruck and more. Classic songs from both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras, will ensure that ACDC fans of all ages are catered for. Following on from performing “Sell out” gigs across Yorkshire and headlining multi band outdoor events, Highway to Hull recently played another sell out gig at Guiseley Theatre in December with the original ‘one and only’ T Rex. The Group was originally put together by musicians meeting at Beat It Music in Baildon, just over the hill from Bingley. The band are excited about performing what is essentially their local home gig and still recruits its members from within Yorkshire. Andrew Steele (from Huddersfield) was the most recent member to join the group (as Angus Young). He joins Mick 'The Metal' Walsh (Rhythm), Charley 'Otto' Cunz (Vocals), Malcolm Moorhouse (Bass) who has just returned to the group and founder member Matthew Wildman (Drums) The night may well bring a few extras to the main performance and a good quality support act will also be completing the line up, to make it one heck of an evening to remember.
